MISSION STATEMENT
The goal of the City of Artesia Water Department is to provide an uninterrupted supply of quality drinking water at a reasonable pressure to our customers as economically as possible. Also, our goal is to operate and maintain the water utility system in accordance with the City of Artesia's ordinances and policies and the Environmental Protection Agency's Safe Drinking Water Act. The City of Artesia Water Department provides water service and wastewater collection service to the approximate 14,000 residents of Artesia, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, and Morningside Water cooperative and surrounding service area.
