2020 Census Once the library reopens, we will have computers available for you to use to fill out the 2020 Census at the library. In addition, our staff can answer your questions about the 2020 Census and we will host Census Assistance sessions at the library.
About the 2020 Census The 2020 Census counts every person living in the 50 United States, District of Columbia and five U.S. Territories. The census provides critical data that lawmakers, business owners, teachers, and many others use to provide daily services, products, and support for you and your community. Census data provides financial assistance to health Care, food assistance programs, public education, libraries and community development. Plus federal funding for transportation, housing, and small business development.
How to Respond By April 1, 2020, every home will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. You will have three options for responding: • Online • By phone (1-844-330-2020) English/ (1-844-468-2020) Spanish • By mail
In mid-March, households will begin receiving official Census Bureau mail with detailed information on how to respond to the 2020 Census.
